Rental Terms and Conditions:

At Abroad Rent A Car, we aim to make your rental experience transparent and straightforward. Here are some key terms to keep in mind:

Reservations: Vehicle reservations are made by category, not for specific models. In the event your selected category is unavailable, we reserve the right to provide a higher-category car at no additional cost to you.
Driver Age: The minimum age requirement for all vehicle categories (excluding luxury cars) is 23 years. Luxury cars require a minimum age of 25 years.
Minimum Rental Period: Our minimum rental period is one day (24 hours). After the initial 24 hours, each additional hour is charged at 1/5 of the daily rental fee.
Payment: Rentals must be prepaid, and a credit card is required as a guarantee, even if payment is made in cash.
Guarantee: Drivers must hold a credit card. Under special circumstances, drivers without a credit card may rent vehicles in the SMALL or MID-SIZE categories by depositing a cash guarantee in addition to the rental fee, refundable at the end of the rental.
Mileage: All rates include 100 kilometers free per day (or 2,500 kilometers free for monthly rentals). Additional kilometers are subject to an extra charge.
Traffic Fines: Renters are responsible for paying any traffic fines incurred during the rental period.
Fuel: The vehicle should be returned with the same amount of fuel as when it was collected. If returned with less fuel, a charge will apply. No refunds are provided if the vehicle is returned with excess fuel.
Insurance: Various insurance coverages, including Third Party Damages, Third-Party Liability, Theft/Fire/Glass Break Insurance, CDW (Collision Damage Waiver), and SCDW (Super Collision Damage Waiver), are included in our rates. However, certain exceptions apply, such as incidents involving alcohol or narcotics, unauthorized drivers, and off-road driving.
Road Assistance: Our cars are covered by 24-hour road assistance, and the contact details are provided in the rental contract.
Loss or Damage of Key: In the event of key loss or damage during the rental, a fee ranging from €80 to €200 applies, depending on the car category.
Border Crossing: Our vehicles are not permitted to leave Greek borders.
