Who we are
Expaty is a Clientment OÜ brand. Clientment OÜ (registry code 16076318, VAT number EE102302347), Veskiposti tn 2-1002, 10138 Tallinn, Harju County, Estonia, is the controller of the personal data described on this page.

What data we collect
- Contact form on the home page: your name, email address and message.
- Form on the For developers page: your name, email address and message, and, if you choose to give them, your company and the location of your project.
- With each form: the date and time you sent it, the page you sent it from, and a record that you ticked the consent box, together with the consent text.
- Emails you send us: your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message.
- Server logs: when you visit the website, our hosting provider, Hostinger, records technical data such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested and information about your browser.
The forms do not record your IP address.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
- To answer your enquiry sent through a form: your consent, given by ticking the box on the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and, where your enquiry is about working with us, steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To answer emails you send us: our legitimate interest in replying to the messages we receive (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Server logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and working (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We use your data only to reply to you. We do not use it for marketing.
Where your data is stored
Form submissions are stored in the website’s database and sent to our business email address. Emails you send us are kept in the same mailbox.
Who receives your data
- Hostinger, which hosts the website and its database and records the server logs, as our data processor.
- The provider of our email service, which stores the messages in our mailbox, as our data processor.
We do not share your data with partners or other third parties.
How long we keep it
- Form submissions and the related emails: 24 months from the date you send them. After that, they are deleted from the website’s database and from our mailbox.
- Server logs: for the limited period set by our hosting provider.
Cookies, analytics and third-party scripts
This website does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, newsletters or third-party scripts. Fonts are served from our own server. For this reason, there is no cookie banner.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, its correction or deletion, a copy in a portable format, and the restriction of its use, and you can object to its use. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before.

You can also complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), www.aki.ee, or to the data protection authority in your country of residence.
